Benefit from FunD run funds
21 April 2017
Thousands of people annually lace up their joggers and hit the pavement for the Botanic to Bridge FunD Run to raise funds for local schools and a major community beneficiary.
Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC) is now calling for applications from the community to be the 2017 Botanic to Bridge FunD Run major beneficiary.
The successful community beneficiary will be the recipient of up to $20,000 to assist them with major projects that benefit the Gladstone region.
Now in its eighth year the event has supported community organisations and initiatives such as Roseberry Community Services, the Pyjama Foundation and the Exodus Tutorial Centre.
GPC, CEO, Peter O’Sullivan said that through the major community beneficiary’s alone the event has injected over $140,000.00 in to the community.
“The Botanic to Bridge is one of the region’s best events, with all registration funds redirected to our community through our major beneficiary and local schools,” he said.
“Not only are people getting out and active with their loved ones and friends but they are also making a difference by supporting our community.”
Applicants can apply to be the beneficiary by visiting www.botanictobridge.com.au and completing the application form and required supporting documentation.
An event date is being finalised and people are urged to keep an eye out for the announcement.
