GPC shares the Christmas spirit

12 December 2018

Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC) is continuing its Christmas tradition of supporting families in need by donating to a local charity.

GPC has named The Salvation Army its 2018 beneficiary, contributing $2,000 to help the organisation’s efforts in providing hope where it’s needed most.

GPC CEO Peter O’Sullivan says the funds will go directly to helping those effected by financial hardship, disability or illness.

“We believe Christmas should be a time of happiness and celebration,” Mr O’Sullivan said.

“We are proud to be supporting The Salvation Army’s commitment to ensuring families have presents under the tree and dinner on the table this festive season.”

GPC has been supporting local charities at Christmas for the past 14 years through its Community Investment Program.

The Christmas donation program rotates between The Salvation Army, Anglicare Central Queensland, St Vincent de Paul Society and Uniting Care – Lifeline Gladstone.
