Gladstone Ports Corporation’s (GPC) Community Investment Program provides an opportunity for community groups in Gladstone, Rockhampton and Bundaberg to receive support for initiatives that align with our key objectives of social, environmental and economic sustainability.
38 submissions were considered as part of Round 1 of our 2018/19 Community Investment Program.
Successful recipients included the Gladstone Men’s Shed, National Theatre for Children, Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum, CQUniversity, Sailability Bundaberg, Welcoming Intercultural Neighbours (WIN), Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service, International Legends of League and Gladstone Engineering Alliance.
We are now calling for online applications for Round 2, which is directed at supporting activities requiring funding between February and July 2019.
GPC CEO Peter O’Sullivan said the Corporation is proud to be an active member of the community and is committed to providing financial and in-kind support to the communities in which it operates.
“Our Community Investment Program gives us a real opportunity to connect with the community through genuine and meaningful contributions,” Mr O’Sullivan said.
"The model we employ for our investments, provides benefits to not only the recipient of the funding, but also to GPC and the community.”
Round 2 funding opportunities include Community Partnerships more than $10,000 and Community Support of up to $10,000.
