Community Beneficiary
In 2026, we are supporting a local community group with up to $50,000 to assist them with a project or initiative in Gladstone, through the Port to Park Fun Run.
This year’s community beneficiary is, Gladstone Community Linking Agency (GCLA).
As this year’s beneficiary, GCLA will use the funding to help deliver a new wheelchair-accessible bus, improving transport access and strengthening community connection for seniors and people living with disability across the Gladstone region.
Please refer to our GPC Port to Park Beneficiary Eligibility Criteria for further information.
- Applications are CLOSED for the 2026 Port to Park Beneficiary.
School engagement and investment
Local primary and secondary schools
Students can register to participate in Port to Park 3km, 5km and/or 10km events as individuals or with their family. Their registration fee will be directed back to the students’ nominated school.
Gladstone regional primary and high schools in the Federal electorate of Flynn, the DET Geographic Region of Central Queensland and the Local Government area of Gladstone, directly benefit from the Port to Park through student registrations being donated back to their nominated school.
Schools can maximise their benefit through the Port to Park School Program by ensuring students, parents and teachers all nominate their preferred school when registering.
These funds provide essential health, sport and recreation equipment and materials, encouraging students and their families to embrace healthy lifestyles.
