Dry bulk cargo across GPC’s operational port precincts includes coal, alumina and aluminium industry inputs, cement products, grain, sugar, gypsum, wood pellets, silica sand and other agricultural and industrial bulk commodities.

Through the Port of Gladstone, GPC supports Queensland’s resources, manufacturing and energy sectors, with the port handling more than 30 different products supported by established deepwater infrastructure, road and rail connectivity, and specialist terminal operations.

The Port of Bundaberg is an important dry bulk gateway for the Wide Bay Burnett region, with Sir Thomas Hiley Wharf handling sugar, gypsum, wood pellets  and silica sand, The port has provided a vital link for regional industry for more than a century and continues to support agricultural, construction, manufacturing and emerging trade opportunities. With State Development Land, established wharf infrastructure and proximity to regional production areas, Bundaberg is well positioned to grow trade in bulk agricultural products, mineral sands, construction materials, renewable fuels and other project cargoes aligned with the region’s economic development.
