GPC owns and operates three operational port precincts, Gladstone, Rockhampton and Bundaberg. We have a competitive advantage of significant developable landholdings in close proximity to State Development areas and our proximity to Asia.
As the gateway for Australian trade and prosperity, the Port of Gladstone has a naturally deep-water harbour and is the most expandable port in the southern hemisphere with a future capacity of 300Mt per annum.
Port centres
Our port centres are a key part of Queensland’s economic performance and growth.
Exports of coal, liquefied natural gas (LNG), raw sugar and minerals from our port centres account for approximately 83% of Queensland nominal overseas merchandise exports.
